MAKE YOUR SAX SING VOLUME II

Make Your Sax Sing Volume II is a follow up to my first ebook, Make Your Sax Sing which has sold 1000s of copies all over the world. 

It’s really heartwarming to know that you are serious about improving the sound of your saxophone – it’s something I work at daily and when I’ve studied with and or had conversations with the great players of our instrument, they’ve all said two things when it comes to sound, 

1. Long Tones
2. Transcribe (learning solos by ear off recordings).

The reality for many people is ‘Long Tones’ is misunderstood as just playing a note for a long time – there’s much more to the work than this and I hope these exercises, coupled with Make Your Sax Sing Volume I will give you enough exercises over a month to keep it fresh. 

I’d urge you to do a different exercise from each volume each day you practice, (remember, you only have to practice on the days you eat…) 

Work slower and smarter when it comes to tone and always reference the great players – having that ‘parental voice’ on the instrument is so important.
